Key Take Away from Disrupting Digital Transformation - Gartner Webinar

Yesterday I happen to watch recording of Gartner webinar on Disrupting Digital Transformation by Andy Kyte facilitated by CastSoftware . The most wonderful piece as always is the final Q&A.   Couple of great take away from the webinar were: 1. Successful Project is one wherein all stakeholders are really really happy, it's NOT the one meeting the IRON Triangle (Scope, Cost, Schedule). 2. Agility is inversely proportional to Complexity - Do not confuse agility and velocity. 3. The rush to do rapid development without ruthless refactoring contributes to inflexible system and complexity. 4. AGILE fails when Ruthless refactoring and elimination of technical debt is not done.Technical debt is "stuff not implemented" like future maintainability that is making it sufficiently easy to change in future, single sign on etc. 5. "The Business" is not a single entity or a single value system or single thought process, in reality there are many demanding Stakeholde...

100 days 100 blogs

that's the thought...that's the view...that's the point & that's the point of view... It didn't took much thought to come to these terms with blogs...Let me write a glimpse of what '100 days 100 blogs' implies. In simple terms during next 100 days - I will be publishing 100 posts across my blogs. It may be sounding simple, but it's not so... It's actually an act to improve expression of thought in focussed frame. It implies a great deal of discipline, enormous data crunching, 100 days of wake up, 100 days of run, 100 days to be have fun, 100 days of restrain, 100 days to become free...It's 100 days of transformation. all the blogs will be published under the label 100. theme would be everything under the sun with a pinch of divine... so folks wish me 'the luck' to the journey. Officially speaking ;) 100 blogs begins on 11-July-2013 and  the closure date is 19 Oct 2013 - 100th day...

Focus and Simplicity One thing that needs to be mastered, which I also need to master is the ability to FOCUS &  SIMPLICITY . This is something that Buddha teaches us. Something that Buddhism taught Steve Jobs (during his India visit) Keeping life simple Makes your thinking simple  Keeping a FOCUS in life --- Focus has to be 1.  Family  2.  Passion  3.  Work  Keeping focus you can achieve things and simple is beautiful....
